World of Words (Verse 1) Can you feel how the beat keeps pulling? Rhythms dancing with steps like distance. Under all of this graceless motion, We've stumbled into this world of words. Can you hear all the phrases screaming? Verses spinning and crash in rhyme, And with each wreck we will keep on mending All of this fractured and broken time. (Pre-Chorus) Woah-oh-oh Oh-oh Woah-oh-oh (Chorus) Oh, the lights go out and we're alone, Singing to the stars, Like they're the ones who will hear us, hold us. Oh, the clocks count down 'til we are home, Lost within these lines. The words run wild like they can see us, save us. (Verse 2) Can you see how the page keeps turning? Full of lessons we've never learned. All of the steps that we keep repeating Just bring us back to these paths we've burned. And it feels like home. It feels like home. It feels like home. It feels like home.

The Science of Sleeping Alone (Verse 1) I hear a telephone ring. As water’s surging through the mains, And pounding in my ears. The thunder keeps on rolling, And sends a chill straight through my veins. A weight upon my chest, ‘Cause you won’t let me rest. (Pre-Chorus) But a storm is coming now. The storm is coming now. (Chorus) I cannot sleep While you stay dreaming What I long to keep Just keeps on running (Bridge) With hands held high, Your hair runs wild. You find your freedom where I can’t tread, You find your comfort in another’s bed. (Verse 2) A gentle, soft reminder To tell me exactly what I lack, And that I hold the blame. You hang just like a shadow And I keep, I keep looking back, To see if I can find, Some lonely peace of mind. (Pre-Chorus) But I can’t shake you now, oh no. But I can’t shake you now. (Chorus) I cannot sleep While you stay dreaming What I long to keep Just keeps on running (Bridge) With hands held high, Your hair runs wild. You find your freedom where I can’t tread, You find your comfort in another’s bed. With hands held high, Your hair runs wild. You find your freedom where I can’t tread, You find your comfort in another’s bed. (Ending Vamp) But I’m learning now, (As I'm trying to find) The science of sleeping alone. (Some lonely peace of mind) Oh, I’m learning now, (As I'm trying to find) The science of sleeping. (Some lonely peace of mind)

Senses 05:07
Senses (Verse 1) I can hear you watching me. Can you touch this melody? It's yours. All yours. (Verse 2) I can smell you listening. Can you hear this darkest shade? It's yours. All yours. (Chorus) Why do you have to be somewhere? When somewhere is where I'll never be. I'll take your hand, but only this once, 'Cause holding on is too much for me. (Verse 3) I can feel you strong and fierce. Can't you see I'm weakening? Hold on. Hold on. (Chorus) Why do you have to be somewhere? When somewhere is where I'll never be. I'll take your hand, but only this once, 'Cause holding on is too much for me. Holding on is too much for me. Holding on is too much for me. Holding on is too much for me. I said holding on is too much for me. (Guitar Solo) (Ay Ya's)

(Verse 1) They say a thousand cuts can kill, But I know it isn't true. 'Cause there's a thousand scars upon my heart, And still it bleeds for you. (Chorus) But I don't need lies, To tell me what's the truth. And I don't want your eyes, To tell me this is more than what you wanted me to do. And I don't need you. (Verse 2) If a picture's worth a thousand words, Then what else can I say? I painted you into my heart, And you tore it all away. (Chorus) But I don't need lies, To tell me what's the truth. And I don't want your eyes, To tell me this is more than what you wanted me to do. And I don't need you. (Verse 3) Words may never break my bones, But the ones you said came close. I cut my loss at a broken heart. Let's see how well that goes... (Chorus) But I don't need lies, To tell me what's the truth. And I don't want your eyes, To tell me this is more than what you wanted me to do. And I don't need you. (Bridge) So let me down. Just let me down. Just let me down easy. Let me go. Just let me go. Just let me go... (Chorus) 'Cause I don't need lies, To tell me what's the truth. And I don't want your eyes, To tell me this is more than what you wanted me to do. But I forgive you.

Whispers in Wakes (Verse 1) Summer lays Its lips to my ears. Counting days To start our reunion. Watch the roads Fold into my maps. Sun explodes, Spilling colors around me. (Pre-Chorus) And grains of time spent apart Will fall in our arms. (Chorus) Cause I just want you here, Your whispers in my ear. Our secrets shared in songs will carry us, As we disappear. (Verse 2) Shifting glance To an exit, As this dance Is holding me hostage. Run outside To hide in your wake, Arms stretched wide, Just begging for more time. (Pre-Chorus) And once the march meets its end, I'll miss you again. (Chorus) Cause I just want you here, Your whispers in my ear. Our sorrows shared in songs will carry me, As you disappear. (Vocalizing)
6.
What Dreams May Come (Verse 1) Skipping stones under the bridge, Where did our lives go? The mystery is too much for me. It seems like time won't slow. Boys turn men. And men have sons. And sunsets fade to night. (Verse 2) Open books, hearts closed tight, Friends can't stay the night. But you and I still have a chance. May we beat the odds. Scared to try. Tried to run. Ransomed my heart to you. (Verse 3) Whispered wind, secrets shared, One step closer now. I touch your face, softest silk. Hold me close tonight. Friends will leave, And leaves they fall, And fall brings winter's cold. (Verse 4) Cool night air, but you're not there, You're in a better place. But I know your voice, I hear it now. I miss your arms around me.

Song for Laurel (Intro) I can’t get more acoustic Than my voice and this guitar, But I sincerely hope this melody Can reach you where you are. (Chorus) This is a song for Laurel Ba ba ba ba da ba ba This is a song for Laurel And I hope it makes you smile For just a little while, ‘Cause acoustic is your style A song for Laurel (Verse 1) Siting in your cardboard box Somewhere along the shore. Your myspace keeps you company With the songs that you adore. I’m sorry you got bullied, But I’m glad you like the rain And if bad things should come your way Remember when I sang (Chorus) This is a song for Laurel Ba ba ba ba da ba ba This is a song for Laurel And I hope it makes you smile For just a little while, ‘Cause acoustic is your style A song for Laurel (Bridge) Hey, Aaron, check out this comment on our myspace. More acoustic? What's that supposed to mean? I don’t know man... we’re already using acoustic guitar and piano... Well, at least she likes the music... Dude, this girl is pretty cool... she likes tater tots. I LOVE TATER TOTS. You know what we should do, we should write her a song. Dude, totally, and it could go like this. (Vamp) This is a song for Laurel Ba ba ba ba da ba ba This is a song for Laurel Ba ba ba ba da ba ba (Chorus) This is a song for Laurel Ba ba ba ba da ba ba This is a song for Laurel And I hope it makes you smile For just a little while, ‘Cause acoustic is your style A song for Laurel

about

Catch the Rabbit is a five-piece band based out of Nashville, TN. It is comprised entirely of students currently attending Belmont University.

"The Rabbit Hole EP" is not a manifestation of the band's intended sound; but rather, it stands as a minimalistic, acoustic reduction of a sound that they are currently developing and refining.

More of a songwriting collective than a showcase of any one member's specific lyrical voice, the six track EP features many different styles and themes that represent the musical minds of each member.

The tracks have a noticeable "emptiness" that comes from the acoustic trio's love for the simplistic beauty and haunting space of songs such as Damien Rice's "9 Crimes", Radiohead's "Videotape", or The Swell Season's "Say It To Me Now".

The raw feel of shaking voices against one or two desperate instruments reflects a much different type of beauty than is found in the full band's sound, and they sought to focus on that natural feel as much as possible for this project.

**Downloading the full album comes with all 6 tracks as well as an otherwise un-downloadable bonus track of "Song for Laurel (live)"**

**Individual track downloads are set at a $1.00 minimum and the entire EP is set at a $5.00 minimum.**
